Tunisian Dishcloth Crochet Along #P2PdishclothCAL

I am so excited to let you know about an upcoming monthly crochet along for 2017 … a Tunisian Crochet Dishcloth CAL!! Megan from Crescent Moon Crochet will be my guest host and designer and has already been busy putting together a set of monthly themed dishcloth designs that I know you will love!!

Here is how it will work … on the first Monday of each month I will post the pattern for that month and as we work up the dishcloth throughout the month we can share our projects in the P2P Ravelry group, Facebook group, or on social media with the hashtag #P2PdishclothCAL. You will need worsted weight cotton yarn (approx. 82 yds per dishcloth) and a J10/6mm Tunisian hook. Be sure to stock up now on all your favorite colors!

Be sure to come back for the first pattern on January 2!

Am so looking forward to this. I have been putting off learning Tunisian crochet even thought I bought a set of hooks almost a year ago. This is just want I need to learn. I am so excited.

I am looking forward to this too. What kind of cotton does everyone use? I have used different kinds, but have not found one that I love to work with.

Hobby Lobby’s I Love this Cotton is nice and soft. Very easy to work with.

Is this to be worked in normal Tunisian crochet or the one that looks like its knitted, as I’m nealy finished and I have worked it in the normal way with all the small lines, and the snowman’s arm looks wrong on the right side as it has the other colour wool for the background lines threw it. I think it would work better the Tunisian knitted way, would love to see some picture as well as the charts
