This Crunchy Stitch crochet dishcloth pattern features a fun, easy stitch that creates a beautifully textured fabric. The pattern uses only two basic stitches—slip stitches and half double crochet—but when worked in an alternating sequence, the effect looks much more complex.
Made with worsted-weight cotton yarn, the finished dishcloth measures approximately 8 inches square. It’s an easy pattern that’s great for practicing simple stitch combinations while making something useful for your kitchen.
The Crunchy Stitch Dishcloth is also part of my collection of 4 Quick & Easy Crochet Dishcloth Patterns, along with the Textured, Three Color Simple Stitch, and Seeing Squares dishcloths.

And here’s a closer look at the stitch … isn’t it awesome?! Let’s get started on the pattern.
