That is SO exciting!! I’ve seen needle felting and would love to do it, but I’m also wondering how many puncture holes my hands will have before I’m done. Good luck to you. Can’t wait to see the final product!

HOW FUN!! I can’t wait to see your hook case. I think the embellishment will be fantastic! I did some felting this week it turned out pretty cute. Thanks for the inspiration as always.:)

I have tried both types of needle felting (for sculptural pieces and embellishments) and like both.

If you want to make figures I’d recommend getting a kit just for that. I got one to make a simple teddy bear and it was great (my final product was wonky but not bad for a raw beginner).

Hello! I am wondering how many oz. of wools did you get from that kit?

Here are the details from the kit:

*One 5″ x 5″ earth friendly foam pad
It is made with bio-based materials which help us reduce our dependency on fossil fuels, and is a great alternative to petroleum based
polyurethane foams. The bio materials include soy and other products grown by U.S. Farmers

*2 x 38 gauge needle (good all rounder needle)

      * A beautiful selection of 20 colorful merino/mohair blend wool roving (that I use for my own toys) equaling 4oz

*A wad of white wool batt to use as the core for your projects equaling 2oz

      * one mini rattle insert to use in whatever project you desire 😉
