Finishing
Using the illustrations below as a guide to placement, Sl st pieces together through top loops only, with right sides facing each other. When only one piece remains, stuff ball with polyester fiberfill to desired consistency. Use a tapestry needle to whip stitch remaining piece in place.
I’ve made two of these – one in black and white for my grandson and one in pink and white for my granddaughter. They love to play indoor soccer with them and dodgeball with their dad. I didn’t stuff them really tight, like a regular because I knew they would want to play with them in the house. They’ve had them for quite a while now, and nothing’s been broken yet!
Easy to make (just have to get the count right – sometimes grammas forget how to count). Great pattern.
Great idea and really cute! Hopefully I can get the time to make one for my 1 1/2 year old. 🙂
Thank you so much. This is very cute and seems very doable 🙂
