My name is Kara. I am a wife, mommy, and a confessed yarnie. In my free time (ha-ha) I work as a freelance writer and editor to support my yarn addiction. My grandmother taught me how to crochet when I was 9 years old, and I have been crocheting ever since. From trying new patterns to designing my own, I always have a crochet project stashed in my bag.My vision for this site is to help share my love of crochet by providing crochet tutorials and resources, free patterns, reviews of related books and products, unique as well as classic crocheted creations, and a forum for crafters to share their projects, ideas, and techniques.
I want this to be your space as well as mine, so get involved, comment, share,
and show off your latest projects.
Enjoy!
Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart,
as working for the Lord, not for men.
— Colossians 3:23 (NIV)
Every good and perfect gift is from above,
coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights,
who does not change like shifting shadows.
— James 1:17 (NIV)

Hi Kara. Thanks for the invitation to post a link. I won't be doing it this time, but look forward to future opportunities. I'm joining your blog through GFC. The Colossians verse clinched it for me. :-) New followers make my blog happy too. ;-) Oh. Will also be looking for your crochet tutorials. I really need to learn. I've found this COOL crocheted Viking hat pattern...a must-have for us Scandinavians! :-)
