This spiral flower crochet pattern is so pretty with a fun two-color swirl design … perfect for embellishing!
Spiral Flower Crochet Pattern
Here is what you will need:
- two colors of worsted weight yarn
- USH8/5.00 mm hook
- tapestry needle, scissors, stitch markers
Finished flower measures approximately 4 in.
Note: Do not join at the end of each round; use a stitch marker to keep track of rounds.
With CA, make a magic ring (as an alternative to the magic ring, you can ch 4 and join with a slip stitch in furthest chain from hook to form a ring).
Round 1: Ch 1, work 1 sc and 7 hdc into ring, pull tail end of yarn to close up ring — 8 sts.
Round 2: Work 2 hdc into the back loop of each st around — 16 sts.
Round 3: Work 2 hdc into the back loop of each st around — 32 sts.
Round 4: Work 2 dc into the back loop of each st around until 1 st remains, work 1 hdc and 1 sc in the back loop only of the last st, Sl st in the back loop of the 1st st from round to join — 64 sts.
Round 5: Work 1 hdc and 1 sc in the back loop of the first st, Sl st in the back loop of next st and fasten off.
Join CB to the front loop of the first st of Round 1. Working in a spiral Sl st in front loop of each st around for each round. Fasten off and weave in ends.
