I recently had lunch with one of my dear friends, Ange. We used to work together and still try to keep in touch, although we definitely don’t see each other enough! Ange recently started blogging over at Ange’s Dollhouse, where she shares her journey of customizing and furnishing her dollhouse. You have to see it!
Here is a sneak peek … don’t you just love the detail she puts in?!
Anyway, after talking dollhouses for awhile I ran and grabbed what was left of my dollhouse furnishings from when I was little and let her pick through it to see if there was anything she would like. You can see her picks in her post here.
Well, after she left I started feeling nostalgic about the dollhouse that my grandfather had made for me. It is long gone now, but I figured I could grab a few pieces from my box and display them as a nice memory of my sweet grandpa.
Here is what I put together … notice how I added some skeins of yarn to the bottom shelf. Of course my dollhouse would have yarn!
And here is my sweet Poppy with me (left) and my sister …
Thank you, Ange, for inspiring my trip down memory lane!
